10 years of handmade hats from adVintage! Hard to believe … but that’s no reason to surrender to daily grind<\/span>. Some innovations and surprises are coming up in this anniversary year of adVintage Hats. I’ve had the pleasure to make many hats for you over the last few years and that’s why I would like to say thank you with free raffles and give-aways. So please my blog<\/a> or my Facebook page<\/a> from time to time so that you don’t miss it…<\/span><\/p>\n

I would like to show you two little „sneak peaks“ today, with the help of pictures of this Last Crusade Fedora, which I made for myself this time ?<\/p>\n

First the obvious: there will be a new Indy felt color! With the colors „Sable“ and „Raiders-Sable“ we come very close to the colors of the movie hats (Sable for ToD and LC Raider-Sable for RotLA), so you have just the right color when unpacking your hat. However, the colors of the felt will fade with the time because of UV rays, so the more direct sunlight it gets, the faster the fading. Therefore there will be a new darker Sable, which will replace the „Dark-Sable“, because it has a bit more red and yellow tones than the old one. This color fades over time in the original color and does not become too bright. Here is the new „True-Sable“:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Maybe you can guess the second news already in the pictures. There will be a premium variant of the Indiana Jones Fedora hat in addition to the currently offered models in the near future. In addition to new manufacturing techniques that make the hat more durable and dimensionally stable, this model is characterized by a super-fine surface and special seams.
