I would like to show you two little “sneak peaks” today, with the help of pictures of this Last Crusade Fedora, which I made for myself this time ?
First the obvious: there will be a new Indy felt color! With the colors “Sable” and “Raiders-Sable” we come very close to the colors of the movie hats (Sable for ToD and LC Raider-Sable for RotLA), so you have just the right color when unpacking your hat. However, the colors of the felt will fade with the time because of UV rays, so the more direct sunlight it gets, the faster the fading. Therefore there will be a new darker Sable, which will replace the “Dark-Sable”, because it has a bit more red and yellow tones than the old one. This color fades over time in the original color and does not become too bright. Here is the new “True-Sable”:
